Ms. Leadbitter earned her BSN from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997, and her MSN from UNC-CH in 2001. For five years, she worked in an Internal Medicine practice as an FNP, providing care to a large population of adult patients over the age of 65 years. Additionally, she managed the anticoagulation clinic, which dealt with a primarily older adult population. Recently, Ms. Leadbitter joined MinuteClinic Diagnostics of North Carolina, where she provides patient care for a variety of conditions in an urgent care setting. Her clinical interests include osteoporosis and anticoagulation management.
