Dodge, Robert DNSc, RN, ANP, AACRN

Dr. Dodge is the Clinical Director of the Wake County Human Services’ HIV Intervention Program Clinic,
and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Dodge
has also held faculty appointments at the Duke University School of Nursing, and the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing. An Adult Nurse Practitioner in HIV/STD since 1996,
Dr. Dodge has served in director positions and has coordinated clinical trials in HIV and STD care
for more than 10 years.
Dr. Dodge began his nursing education as a diploma graduate of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center,
and went on to earn his BSN from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his MSN/ANP from
the Duke University School of Nursing. In 2003, he completed his doctoral studies at The Catholic
University of America. Dr. Dodge is credentialed as an HIV Specialist by the American Academy of
HIV Medicine, and certified as an Advanced AIDS Certified RN by the HIV/AIDS Nursing Certification Board.
